Blandings Jimmy Choo

Meet our Superstar resident Shetland Jimmy Choo.  The coolest, calmest, kindest pony you will ever meet.  Jimmy Choo is a great pony to introduce children to ponies or build their confidence around horses.  

Have a full 45 minutes with your child and Jimmy Choo in his play pen, playing games and activities and allowing your child to get familiar with handling and the movement of a pony.  You can walk Jimmy through fun arches, over bridges, through poles, bending cones and all sorts of other fun activities.

The mist o special relationship is one with a horse, spend sometime grooming Jimmy Choo and getting to know him.  You can give him treats , brush his mane and tail, plait his mane and put decoration in it.  

Our Equine Manager or an Assistant will be there to offer you as much help as needed or allow you to be independent with being there from a distance.

You will have a briefing on arrival and a handy folder to refer to of dos and donts

Jimmy Choo can be booked for a 45 minute session for a cost of $50.00

Safety is a priority, and all clients will be briefed on arrival.  Closed toed shoes are essential and boots recommended.  Helmet will be provided.

Horse Riding is a dangerous activity and all riders / handlers work with horses at their own risk.  

Jimmy Choo has been extensively handled and trained and has no know vices 

some rules

- always talk when approaching ton of give him a fright to let him know you are there

- if you walk behind him out your hand on his bum to let him know

- do not touch his eyes or ears are these are seMaurice to horses

- when feeding always have a flat hand as horses can mistake fingers for food

- jimmy is to be led from the left side

- no trotting only walking

- no running around horses

- if something is not right hop off and ask for assistance if needed

- gear must be checked by HPC before riding , we recommend we help with these parts

- Adults must be helping their child every step of the way to ensure safety for child and pony
